As sighthound owners we know that they are the most elegant and sophisticated of dogs and therefore deserve a coat to match their character. Those of you with puppies - enjoy the zooming, they quieten down all too quickly.

We have designed a coat that is made specifically for whippets, Italian greyhounds and lurchers.  The design takes into account the breeds long delicate necks and graceful physique.  We also make coats for greyhounds so please do send an email with your  dog's measurements.

 

Hand-made to order, the coats are made from a selection of luxurious fabrics including Harris Tweed, wool plaids and suiting.  To counteract the whippet tendency to shiver the coats are lined with a contrasting fleece for additional warmth.  They have a stand-up collar to stop the wind whistling round their delicate long necks and an adjustable waist band which is finished off with a stylish vintage button, as a result each coat is a unique quality crafted item.  You can choose whether you require a harness hole, and in some cases the colour of your fleece lining. We can do local fittings to ensure the perfect fit.  We are based in London SE22.

We change our stock on a regular basis as we use short runs of fabric, so do check the website regularly and please email if you are looking for something in particular. 

 

The coats are pre-washed, so they are machine washable on a wool cycle or hand wash.  Do not tumble dry, but they can be dried on a radiator.  Keep velcro fastened during the washing process.
